Water Supply Infrastructure – Digha Urban Zone

This project involved the construction and commissioning of a comprehensive water pipeline network and a reinforced overhead storage tank to serve urban households in the Digha area of Patna.

The infrastructure was developed to address rising demand for potable water in one of the city’s fast-growing residential zones. High-quality, corrosion-resistant pipelines were laid underground to ensure minimal leakage and long-term performance.

The overhead tank, engineered with optimal elevation and storage capacity, plays a critical role in maintaining consistent pressure and uninterrupted supply throughout the service area. Design standards aligned with BIS and CPHEEO guidelines to guarantee water quality and system resilience.

With this initiative, thousands of urban households now benefit from a continuous, safe, and reliable drinking water supply, reducing dependency on tankers and borewells. The project stands as a step forward in building smart, sustainable civic infrastructure in Bihar’s urban core.
